A poetry fan and philosophy major, Victoria says she didn't get the writing bug until her mid-20s when term papers finally weren't "sapping her creative energy." The oldest of three children, she was raised in the Midwest where she remained into adulthood. From time to time, Victoria has been caught entering baking contests or donating homemade cookies to centers providing free meals to the needy. She currently lives in Alaska with her husband and two children.
