Black Lyon Publishing, LLC is an independent publishing house operating in the beautiful state of Oregon. Established in January of 2007, we are a royalty-paying, Romance Writers of America-recognized publisher focusing on literary love stories and romance. Our titles are available in paperback, PDF ebook format and on Amazon Kindle.
Black Lyon is owned and operated by a former corporate marketing executive with over a decade of experience spanning the international publishing and engineering industries. She is also a published author who chose, like many small publishing house owners do, to establish the company's printing, marketing and distribution channels with two of her own titles first. We enjoy utilizing the resources in our local community. Our operations have included authors, photographers, seven cover models, and contract editing/proofreading staff - all residents of eastern Oregon. Our operations also reach far outside our home area. Black Lyon releases 1-2 titles per month written by authors from around North America. Our sales come from as far as Japan, the UK, and Australia.
Finally, our company was formed with the realization that most major NYC editors have to be very specific when considering new manuscripts for a line. We think wonderful, unique books sometimes fall through the cracks this way and our company is the perfect place for them to land. Black Lyon partners with the same printer used by several of the world's largest publishers and uses state-of-the-art graphics and layout software to design our covers and bookblocks. We think readers will enjoy the writing quality and design creativity they find in our releases. Our backlist is kept perpetually active, so favorite titles are always available.

A sweet rating means no fully consummated love scenes, or a love scene only vaguely alluded to. You could safely give this book to your grandmother.
All other Black Lyon romances contain the level of sexuality you'd find in most mass market or trade paperback romances, but not at the level found in erotica.
