There's Gotta Be Something More

There's Gotta Be Something More

The words kept running through her head:
There’s gotta be something more.
With Zach Baker, there just might be.

Divorce. Dead-end career. Disaster. Then fate steps in and changes Jesse’s life in an instant. With her dreams now close enough to touch, she moves to the mountain splendor of Montana with her young daughter. Far from city life, her plans to start her own riding school start to take shape—with the help of a certain cowboy down the road.

A girl with money and a passing interest in horses sure isn’t enough to turn Zach Baker’s head. With the ice wall around his heart firmly in place, he isn’t about to let Jesse chip away at it. It’ll take more than just the heat of attraction to melt that ice, and attraction is all he feels for Jesse, isn’t it? But then, he has been wrong before.

"THERE'S GOTTA BE SOMETHING MORE was a very pleasant and satisfying read—the characters felt real and believable and I also felt for them when things weren't going so good. Maggie Grey has written a meaningful story about two people who end up finding each other after going through their own heartbreaks—they both find that there really has gotta be something more!"
    Manic Readers

"THERE'S GOTTA BE SOMETHING MORE pulled me in right from the very first page and I couldn't stop reading.  The plot of the story focuses on the relationship between Jesse and Zack.  These strong characters really help make this a worthwhile read.  Ms. Grey did a wonderful job creating such fascinating characters.  Jesse is a strong-willed heroine filled with determination and strength.  Yet despite her strength, she still has a vulnerability about her.  Zach, having been hurt in the past, has put up walls to protect his heart and himself from being hurt.  He is reluctant to trust or get involved with a city girl thanks to past experiences, but Jesse is not what he is expecting or used to. I really enjoyed the banter and flirtation between the couple and found myself smiling more than once during their encounters.  The author did a wonderful job of creating a believable and real couple complete with flaws and emotions.  I became emotionally invested in the story, and I couldn't help but root for Jesse and Zach throughout the ups-and-downs of their relationship. THERE'S GOTTA BE SOMETHING MORE is a highly satisfying story that I definitely recommend!"

"Very sweet and heartwarming. I thought the characters were great - except for Paul - what a jerk. I wanted to slap his selfish butt. But I loved Zach the most, so damn sexy and he's a cowboy!"
